Hi Howie, 'pear-dev' is mostly for communication about the PEAR parts (the software which manages the modules) and the actual Pear modules. But your question seems more general and probably would be better on pear-general. <http://pear.php.net/support/lists.php> pear-dev IS a good place to ask specific questions about specific modules so if you start tinkering on your problem and need help with some part of Pear...
