Is there a wishlist for pyrus? :-D
E.g. currently pear package-validate errors:
Error: <contents> must contain <dir>. Use <dir name="/"> as the first
dir element
Error: <contents> cannot be empty (<contents/>)
... but in this package, there are no files to install. ;-) And
usually I just add something to make it stop, but maybe there's
another way?
<dir name="/" /> also didn't work.
... or, it requires me to add "empty" (e.g. <phprelease />) tags to
satisfy the tag order.
I'm not really familiar with XML and DTD-madness, but is this required
to make it validate in general and is there a way to loosen it so
people don't have to write it?
I also can't write:
<extension>
<name>apc</name>
<channel>pecl.php.net</channel>
</extension>
... cause when I add the channel, I need to specify <min> and/or
<max>. This is just an example.
(I'm creating another meta package to keep track of the PEAR and PECL
dependencies for a web app, and I just noticed this again, couldn't
find a thread -- so here we are.)
Just food for thought!
