I have posted to this list about this previously (about a month ago) and Ulf said to commit my changes to cvs. At that time, I had not been careful to maintain pear coding standards with my changes, nor had I commented them. I have since done both, and have done some testing to make sure there are no glaring bugs. My changes will break the command line version only because I removed /apidoc/keep and moved it to /renderer/html/default/static. I don't have a way to test the command line version, so I'd encourage someone to see if they can come up with a new command-line version file. I'm confident that with a new command-line file, my changes could be committed to cvs without breaking existing installations unless existing installations had customized phpdoc themselves. As far as the improvements, I'm not the person to do them right now... I'm not very good at crafting regular expressions. I'm trying to learn them, but as it stands right now, I'm not there. So... if someone reading this is good at regular expressions, wants to dig into PHPDoc, and has the time, I'd like to talk to you! I think Ulf is waiting for the parse support to appear in the Zend engine. Correct me if I'm mistaken, Ulf :) --timmyg At 05:19 PM 4/5/2002 +0200, you wrote:
I would be very happy to see somebody working on PHPDoc again. Did you already try to contact Ulf Wendel (ulf.wendel@phpdoc.de) directly? - Martin
