Hi all,
I've just uploaded a new version of Log_Growl (0.1.0b2)
This minor changes allow more flexibility especially on uses with another of my proposals : PEAR_TestListener
If you have already PEAR_TestListener 0.3.0b2, then the patch to apply is very simple
Apply it on file PEAR/TestListener/Configuration.php

$ident = (string)$handler->getAttribute('ident');
$name = (string)$handler->getAttribute('name');
if (empty($ident) || empty($name)) {
// misconfiguring file handler, skip this entry
And now an example to use Log_Growl to be notified on important events like tests error or failure (incomplete or skipped tests)
Here are the phpunit.xml file I used to run my test suite of HTML_CSS
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<phpunit>
<loggers>
<file ident="HTML_CSS TestSuite Bugs"
name="C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.2.9-2\tests\HTML_CSS\tests\%I_%Y%M%D.log"
level="debug">
<conf>
<append>0</append>
<lineFormat>[%1$s] %2$s: %4$s</lineFormat>
<timeFormat>%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S</timeFormat>
</conf>
</file>
<growl ident="HTML_CSS TestSuite failed"
name="PEAR_TestListener"
level="warning">
<conf>
<sticky>1</sticky>
</conf>
</growl>
<composite>
<file ident="HTML_CSS TestSuite Bugs" />
<growl ident="HTML_CSS TestSuite failed" />
</composite>
</loggers>
</phpunit>
No more difficult than that !
Laurent
