Re: github pear channel

I'm not sure exactly how and why it died off originally. But I just talked to one of the github folks and it looks like that currently they are not looking to to host anything like a channel. From what I can tell their gem experience hasn't been too great and that seems to be one of the reasons why this didn't happen. Anyway, I can update this thread if I know more. I asked them if they needed anything from our side to change their mind, or help them come to a conclusion/decision.
