When I think of validation, some routines to check the
validity of postal codes, telephone numbers or credit
card ids come to my mind. But since there are no international
rules for such numbers, we would need to make some heavy I18N
here (Germany has e.g. postcal codes with 5 digits, while
Belgium has only 4 digits).
Anyways, if you want to take over this task, feel free to do
it ;-).
