Hi Laurent,
As it is my first try, I read the help pear help svntag Perharps there is still a typo error (cvstag) "pear svntag [options]<package.xml> [files...] Sets a SVN tag on all files in a package. Use ... after running cvstag once, ... "
Yes. Please open a bug report.
Then I'm ready to open a new bug report, I found the old one that was closed https://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=17463 By the way, even if I apply the patch provided I still got warning Warning: strpos(): Offset not contained in string in PEAR\Command\Package.php on line 577 Validation: 0 error(s), 0 warning(s) But the result is better. dry-run option let me see the expected result
Could you try with PEAR 1.9.2? It had a few extra fixes on top of the patch. If there is still a problem then please open up a new report. I take it this is Windows specific? - Helgi Hello Helgi,
I confirm there are no more warning on windows with PEAR 1.9.2 and PHP 5.2.x or PHP 5.3.x But there is still a minor typo error in help command below ( remember the reference to "cvstag", that should ne now replaced by "svntag") " ... after running cvstag ... " Laurent pear svntag [options] <package.xml> [files...] Sets a SVN tag on all files in a package. Use this command after you have packaged a distribution tarball with the "package" command to tag what revisions of what files were in that release. If need to fix something after running cvstag once, but before the tarball is released to the public, use the "slide" option to move the release tag. to include files (such as a second package.xml, or tests not included in the release), pass them as additional parameters. Options: -q, --quiet
        Be quiet
-F, --slide
Move (slide) tag if it exists
-d, --delete
        Remove tag
-n, --dry-run
        Don't do anything, just pretend
