Hi Simon,
I'm not getting this problem here. First, do you have latest cvs of SOAP, and second, can you email me (directly) a script you use to produce the error. I downloaded the one mentioned, and can do the 'php monkey' query just fine.
Thanks
Shane

Ok, I may not be able to get to it today (though I shall try), but I certainly *WILL* have it fixed by end of day on Sunday at the latest. Shane Simon Willison wrote:Shane Caraveo wrote:Hi Simon, Can you provide some queries you did to repro the problem? Shane"php" and "monkey" both resulted in the error I describe. I haven't tried the new SOAP_Google class from PEAR yet but having glanced at the code it looks like it should suffer from the same problems. Cheers, SimonSimon Willison wrote:Sorry for the vague description but I'm not entirely sure where this bug is located. While playing with the new Google Web API (using the PEAR SOAP package) I came across a strange bug. For some queries sent to Google the returned XML was deciphered prefectly, but a few queries resulted in a PEAR_Error object announcing "XML error on line X: not well-formed (invalid token)".
