So, in the interests of seeing what's new, I installed the CVS version of
PHP today (4.3.0-dev). All seems to be well, except for PEAR.
PEAR installed, but it didn't install a good chunk of the classes it used to
(i.e. the DB classes, Log::*, Crypt::*, etc.).
I think that the makefile for /php4/pear has been updated to only install
the base PEAR stuff, with the assumption that everything else will come
through using the PEAR installer. Trouble is, most of those modules aren't
in /pear yet.
So, the current CVS version of PHP is kinda stuck half-way, PEAR-wise.
