I know I am crazy that way ;-). Seriously I do use this for some of the online
analysis tools for my research project, so I thought it might be of use to
others too.
Just wait until I finish reorganizing Math_Complex, Math_Matrix,
Math_Quaternion and Math_Stats, more math that you can shake a stick at <grin>

Indeed I did not tried that. The pear installer is getting better.

It'll be better I think. If it is on cvs.php.net then other will be able to fix
bugs/add to the classes, and cvs.php.net is publicly available too. I already
got access to it, so adding should not be a problem.
