new idea: Database Access concept

Reading through the messages about database objects ... looked like something I'd been working out ..till I found this: I've been working with a library called ExtremePHP located at www.extremephp.org The authors, Ken and Remi, have come up with a concept of a DAO, which makes working with tables very easy ....they have a database abstraction library (only for MySQL right now) I wrote a tutorial on the DAO with a simple example, you can find it at the documentation page. I think this is a really useful concept and would like to know what all of you think of it. The javadoc documentation isn't very detailed, but feel free to email me with any questions.
