Just a general comment on the use of id attributes:
Take "packages.net.finger.query" as an example. It's not clear to me
how this is structured from package, class and method names. This
doesn't work well for packages with lots of classes, such as DB or PEAR.
What about this:
package.net-finger general node about the Net_Finger package
class.net-finger general about the class
function.net-finger.query method reference
Format:
package.PACKAGE
class.CLASS
function.CLASS.METHOD
