In the class Net_URL which is used by HTTP_Request property
$this->path defaults:
$this->path = $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['PHP_SELF'];
This causes problems if the url you pass to to Net_URL
misses the trailing slash ( http://www.example.com )
because $PHP_SELF will be added to the request. IMO
the correct default should be '/'.
Yes, you can allways say the trailing slash should be
there. However is the url is given as user input it
usually is forgotten.
