That seems so, but the context of those rules is for code maintained by human
beings, i.e one that you write and tweak by hand, ensuring the future
maintainability of the source.
If you were using SWIG (or any other wrapping system), the important file is
not the generated wrapping code, but the definitions file (*.i for SWIG) which
describes how the automated wrapping is to happen.
This is a point that was also made by Stig elsewhere and that I though implicit
in my prev msgs.
So I am not sure that *everything* is regulated in PEAR... yet ;-)
