I know that ITX should be as simple as possible while at the same
time giving the design the most flexibility. I am running into one
small case that I don't know how to get around.
If you want to put something between each iteration of a block, I am
not sure I know how to do it unless I hardcode it into the
controlling code. Here is an example. I want to end up with
link1 | link2 | link3 | link4
from the template
<!-- BEGIN LINKS -->
{link}
<!-- END LINKS -->
However, there is no way to determine if I am on the first or last
iteration so as to know where to place the seperator. It might be
cool if you could set seperator code, such as
<!-- BEGIN LINKS { | } -->
{link}
<!-- END LINKS -->
Where everything between the curly braces is the seperator. Since
this is an html comment, any html would be allowed without messing
up the comment, so you could for instance do
<!-- BEGIN LINKS {<br />} -->
{link}
<!-- END LINKS -->
Does this sound good to anyone? The way this would work of course
is the very first time the block is parse, it would not be
added...then each time after that it is added prior to the addition
of the block data.
