REMOTE FILE ?

Hello, I'm looking for a Remote_File class in PEAR. I want to get news from another site through RSS remote files. But i don't want to access to to the remote site at every time i display its news on my site. Because, if the remote site is down or slow... So I need a class which make a local cache copy of the remote file. Every x hours, the cache is updated. But if the remote site is down, the local cache copy is keeped. So is there a class like this in PEAR ? or in developpement ? If not, and of course if you're interested in, i would be very proud to make it by using PEAR/CACHE and PEAR/HTTP_REQUEST. Thanks, Fabien
