Furthermore to build the extension, "pear build" needs the package.xml, which is not copied to the src-dir by default. Do i have package.xml to the filelist as <file role="src">package.xml</file> explicitly or is this a bug? Upload is also not possible right now, i get the following errors at http://pear.php.net/release-upload.php **** * file Makefile.in: invalid role, should be one of: php ext test doc data extsrc script * file config.m4: invalid role, should be one of: php ext test doc data extsrc script * file imagick.c: invalid role, should be one of: php ext test doc data extsrc script * file package.xml: invalid role, should be one of: php ext test doc data extsrc script * file php_imagick.h: invalid role, should be one of: php ext test doc data extsrc script **** And more of a feature request: pear build imagick-0.1.1.tgz does not work, i have to first install and then change to the source directory and then build it.
