syntax highlight class

I realize the php syntax highlighting is native, but it would be nice to have a class that could do all standard languages. There is a guy who has a php class http://www.beautifier.org/downloads.php Maybe we could work with him to make it a PEAR class, like Langauge_Syntax_Highlight or something. I realize it seems lame to want to rewrite or move these classes, but isn't the whole idea to be like CPAN, and if that is the case, we need to start sucking up classes from around the web and centralizing. If not I will quit my crusade.
