Hi
Sorry, I forgot to say that I'm a Windows user, and as I don't want to
install CVS, the Web-installer is (ASFIK) the only way to download PEAR.
Is there a link to the latest Web-installer ?

Yes. As of PEAR 0.10 upgrading the installer works fine. You may also
use go-pear for this (it will upgrade if you have those packages
already).
