If you got access to a Unix/Linux box (or have the appropriate tools for Windows), the line: tr -d '\r' < infile > outfile should clear that up. The alternative would be to use VIM/GVIM for Windows (www.vim.org) and use :set ff="unix" :set ffs="unix" And for good measure: :s/^M//g The ^M is made pressing ^V^M where ^ = control-key You can also put those "set" lines in your .vimrc (or _vimrc, or whatever it is for windows). --- lsmith@php.net wrote: > ID: 18028 > Updated by: lsmith@php.net > Reported By: blues@ds.pg.gda.pl > -Status: Closed > +Status: Open > Bug Type: PEAR related > Operating System: Unix > PHP Version: 4.0CVS-2002-06-27 > New Comment: > > blech ... > something is not working like i want it to > i will look into it and try to fix things tomorrow > > > Previous Comments: > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > [2002-06-28 10:28:48] lsmith@php.net > > This bug has been fixed in CVS.
