Specilly done for all of you that was reporting bugs and problems with the installer under Windows, this new release will hopefully fix all of them. As always we are open to hear feedback from the testers. Download it at: http://pear.php.net/get/PEAR-0.91-dev.tgz or the habitual ways go-pear and "pear upgrade PEAR"

Where exactly is the "pear" file supposed to be installed? I went through go-pear (getting the same error about the ZE and loops as before) and now on my system I cannot see a file called pear anywhere: narrow-gauge% find ~/ -name "*pear*" -type f -print /usr/home/reywob/bin/pear_old /usr/home/reywob/bin/pearize /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/build/pear.m4 /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/build/rules_pear.mk /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/scripts/pear.bat /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/scripts/pear.in /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/scripts/pearize.in /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/scripts/pearwin.php /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/tests/pear1.phpt /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/tests/pear_autoloader.phpt /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/tests/pear_config.phpt /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/tests/pear_error.phpt /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/tests/pear_error2.phpt /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/tests/pear_error3.phpt /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/tests/pear_error4.phpt /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/tests/pear_registry.phpt /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/tests/pear_system.phpt /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/pear.m4 /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/install-pear.php /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/lib/php/install-pear.txt /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/etc/pear.conf /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/bin/pear_old /usr/home/reywob/usr/local/bin/scripts/pear.bat /usr/home/reywob/go-pear /usr/home/reywob/.pearrc I'm getting thoroughly confused now :-) Peter --oOo-- Narrow Gauge on the web - photos, directory and forums! http://www.narrow-gauge.co.uk --oOo-- Glenbranter - Scottish narrow gauge in 009 http://glenbranter.narrow-gauge.co.uk --oOo--
