Hi,
Someone just send me a patch turning all requires into "MDB/filename".
This should work well as long as MDB is very it is "supposed" to be: in
the pear path and the pear path is in php.ini.
Alternatively one could just do something like this
dirname(__FILE__)."/filename"
This would work as well but is more flexible.
The problem here is that doing automatic dependency checking is harder
and this is the reason that this person send me that patch.
The big plus for the dirname(__FILE__) solution is that this also allows
you to package MDB with your App without requiring that person to modify
their php.ini.
Is there a standard set for this?
What should this be?
Any problems I did not think of?
Best regards,
Lukas Smith
