I can do that. Actually I've already did some changes:

+ constructor
+ connect()
+ disconnect()
+ simpleQuery()
+ fetchRow()
+ fetchInto()
+ freeResult()
- added numRows() method

More things will come with time.
As soon as I got CVS permissions I can commit that. ;)
