I was wondering if anybody had seen this after upgrade to 4.2.2?
I have never set a socket for DB::mysql because I always use the default. It
appears a bug exists in the latest release around line 108 of mysql.php.
If you notice on line 107, protocol is checked extensively to see if it is set,
but then socket is used in the if statement. If you do not have a socket setup
in your dsn then it no longer sets a default.
Is this a bug, a feature?
