Auth.php currently clobbers $_SESSION['auth'] with it's own
values. This patch makes it be more respectful, thus
allowing Auth/Container/* to use this variable too to store
any state it needs to maintain there. This patch maintains
100% backwards compatibility (unless someone is *expecting*
the var to be clobbered!)
