Hi, I have written an audio extension that wraps the Ecasound librarys. This will allow php to be used to write advanced audio recording/processing apps such as multitrack recorders. In the future I will write higher level functions to make the ecasound syntax simpler. I mentioned this on the php-dev list a few weeks ago and it was suggested that I put this into PECl, and DJ Anubis (who is working on the XMMS extension) has suggested that we work on a unified sound wrapper for php. Anyway I'm not sure how PECL works, who says what can go in and what can't so I just wanted to ask if there were any objections here to it being included. You can find brief details at http://www.webwise-data.co.uk/php_audio/php_audio_extension.html I have applied for a cvs account, do I also need to apply for a web account to write documentation? Regards Tony Leake
