Ok, the Inline.tar.gz tar ball has been updated. There are now 2 scripts, mkbuildtree.head, which works with the build system in the HEAD branch of php, and mkbuildtree.4.2.3, which works (for me at least ;), with the 4.2.3 release.

Yeah, this looks like a difference in the build system between head and 4.2.3. Will see what I can do. George Schlossnagle wrote:Can you try running the steps in mkbuildtree by hand? It's just a shell script. Let me can you run it step by step and see where it breaks? Oh... and I'm using HEAD. The build system may be different in current. I get 2 different errors when I run mkbuild tree 1)configure: error: can not find sources in . or .. 2)PHP Warning: mkdir() failed (File exists) in - on line 1 (the directory is created) Then when I run the test script I get the following error: PHP Warning: fopen("tree/Makefile.tmpl", "r") - No such file or directory in /home/sources/Inline/Inline.php on line 5 It doesn't matter if I use absolute or relative paths, the Makefile.tmpl file still doesn't exist :) Tony
