cvs/web account difference

Hi,
I'm kinda confused. I can't seem to log into pear.php.net with my cvs password. The accounts appear to be keyed off the same source though, since filling out the web request form for my username (gschlossnagle) throws a duplicate account error. How can I rectify this?
