BTW, the DNS for our institute is fubared right now, and so it seems the
connection to the net. From a friend's machine (which I am using right now), I
can resolve the names for out machines, but no connection makes it there.
I will put the tarball w/ some comments in there on my hosted server tomorrow
or Monday.
