I got sick of having code in several places in Horde to handle blobs for
different kinds of databases, so I wrote this:
http://cvs.horde.org/co.php/horde/lib/SQL.php
The VFS SQL driver now uses it. I'd love to have blob handling in PEAR DB,
but I'm not sure how people would want to implement it. I'm happy to release
this as part of a general Horde package as a dependancy if that would work
for people (would include the Horde lib as well to provide the temp file
routines that the ftp driver uses).
Thoughts?
