I choose (2) because it's more fun.
for the record - i think you are mad ;)
Can you explain briefly how you intend to implement the HTML forms? I wrote a function that generates a Gtk Form from configuration variables, as well as methods to extract the data when the form is submitted.
I would like to do the same for this version of Config, but would like to know how you are proceeding so that I can make a similar API. How do you plan to detect what type of widget each directive should have? I proposed a patch to Config-0.3 which stores datatypes along with the key/value pairs (by using a special comment format). This could be extended to provide a way to store multiple config values to be used in select boxes.
But I thought about those users like me and you who use var_dump() quite
often. There is a toArray() method that should display some kind of dump
when used with var_dump : var_dump($content->toArray());
