Hello,
I trust you already read the "DB_FETCHMODE_OBJECT"
example from the manual ( http://pear.php.net/manual/en/
package.database.db.intro-fetch.php).
I take the libery to forward your suggestions re:
Documentation to the package lead developer.
Many thanks for your report and your contribution!

Description:
------------
Please could we have more detailed documentation on using
DB_FETCHMODE_OBJECT with a classname to populate?
I have just spent two days trying to work out how to do object
concurrency control against a database, only to discover that a heap of
my code duplicates this existing, but little-documented functionality.
The ability to use DB as a simple object factory like this is great -
please may I make a feature request: the ability to feed objects
derived from DB_Row back into the autoExecute mechanism so that they
can simply be persisted back to the database?
