Hello,
When I deliver PHP courses (mostly to noobies) I teach my students to adhere to the coding standards as documented on the PEAR site. It would *really* help if a person who was able to muster consensus would add a small section on the use of quotation marks.
Personally, I prefer single quotes, and use double when the statement calls for it.
