Trying to start a flamewar? ;-)
Personally, though I'm a US native speaker, I'm rather indifferent. However,
it would be nice to see it uniform. I guess it would be preferable to allow
the authors of individual package documentation freedom in this regard. It
simply must be uniform within a given package.
The main PEAR documentation, though, should try to be uniform. Currently we
have the category "Internationalisation" with "Internationalization" being
used in the package descriptions:
http://pear.php.net/packages.php?catpid=28&catname=Internationalisation
Either or :-)
If we are looking for professionalism, though, there is a lot to be said for
a global documentation standard. And in that case, I'd suggest you write an
RFC ;-)
