Simplest and the most robust option would be to create a new custom file role that can be used in package.xml 2.0. phpDocumentor could easily be tweaked to automatically create docs from this in a future version, but for now, the cron script could be modified to look for this file role and use it as the config file. How about role="phpdocconfig" (verbose but clear) Greg
