Edit report at http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=5178&edit=1 ID: 5178 Comment by: bealdavid at gmail dot com Reported By: michel dot zehnder at proact-it dot ch Status: Closed Id: 5178 Type: Feature/Change Request Package: Documentation Operating System: Windows PHP Version: 5.0.4 Assigned To: danielc New Comment: I have the same problem with a visual foxpro driver for .dbf files in XP. It return an object error instead of $numrows value while the query result is correct. Is there a possibility to correct it. In adodb library, the corresponding function works fine. What can i do to help pear project to this point, please ? Thanks for your answer Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-10-23 12:52:25] danielc at php dot net I'm sorry. My test rig was messed up. Access doesn't support numRows(). I'll update the documentation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-10-23 12:02:57] danielc at php dot net The method works properly for me. I strongly suspect that object returned is a DB_Error object, meaning you have an error in your script. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-08-22 17:58:19] michel dot zehnder at proact-it dot ch Description: ------------ PEAR::DB 1.7.6 rumRows() gives back an object ID using against ODBC MS Access DB.Even with DB_PORTABILITY_NUMROWS set.
