I started something like this about two years ago, but never finished it. My intention was to create weekly documentation news, that could be viewed on the website. All that needs to be done, would be creating a changelog from the cvs log of the different language folders and then replace the filenames with their respective page titles, so the users know what's on the page, that has changed.
