Many of the PEAR classes out there use similar approaches and I've had success using these kind of functions for classes that don't have their own singleton methods.Thanks. How do I find out which has one. Is there an indication in the APIdoc that (in the same request-child) you always get the same instance of the class? Yours, Matthias
