Hi friends,
My program runs on a Linux Server (RH 7.3) with PHP
4.3.2. I also installed a package of PEAR::DB
1.5.0RC2.
My program is supposed to connect to a remote
Microsoft SQL Server 2000, so I make a DSN like this
mssql://user:password@remotehost/dbname
When I try to connect, it prompts:
DB Error: extension not found
What is wrong? I found there is a file called
mssql.php in the folder under pear/DB/. Should I
install something else in my server? Please help.

PS: When I tried to open mssql.php , find a statement
inside:
if (!DB::assertExtension('mssql') &&
!DB::assertExtension('sybase')&&
!DB::assertExtension('sybase_ct'))
{
return $this->raiseError
(DB_ERROR_EXTENSION_NOT_FOUND);
}
My file structure is like this
/public_html/program/
_|
_|- main.php
_|- pear/
____|
____|- DB.php
____|- DB/
______|
______|- mysql.php
______|- mssql.php
______|- ...
In the head of the main program main.php, I wrote
ini_set("include_path",
"/public_html/program/pear/".PATH_SEPARATOR.ini_get("include_path"));
include_once("pear/DB.php");
But it still prompts that "DB Error: extension not
found". What is wrong? Please help.
