Hi, I use these statements in my xml schema : <field>
    <name>PGHT</name>
    <type>decimal</type>
    <notnull>1</notnull>
    <default>0.000</default>
</field> <field>
    <name>PTIPS</name>
    <type>decimal</type>
    <notnull>1</notnull>
    <default>0.00</default>
</field> but with mysql, mdb manager creates BIGINT(20) fields. That's a big problem. I use MDB 1.2.
Mysql didnt used to have a decimal type, and therefore it was emulated in metabase (and therefore also in MDB). The important property is "decimal_places" which determines the amount of decimal places supported. regards, Lukas Smith smith@backendmedia.com _______________________________ BackendMedia www.backendmedia.com berlin@backendmedia.com Linn Zwoch Smith GbR Pariser Str. 44 D-10707 Berlin Tel +49 30 83 22 50 00 Fax +49 30 83 22 50 07
