After installing the PEAR package using the command line 'pear install'
feature on Red Hat 9, the command 'pear' and all its functions have died!
I get the following error when I try to run 'pear' or 'pear install xxxx':

<b>Fatal error</b>: Call to undefined function: getoptions() in
<b>/usr/bin/pear</b> on line <b>34</b><br />
Does anyone know what this means and what steps I can take to resolve this?
