Error handling and setErrorHandling

Hi all, Do you know any good tutorial or examples on how to use the error handling included in PEAR? I'd like to use it accross my web application. I have many classes most of them extend a root class. I guess I coulmd set the error handling in that root class. Depending on some specs, i'd like to be able to redirect errors to a simple print, log file, email, etc. Any hint welcome Moreover, is there a good tutorial on how to develop an application with PEAR? Should I create my own classes that include PEAR packages, or should I extend PEAR packages? Vincent
