One reason maybe:
- SOAP is writing it's own error handler and not ignoring 'zero' errors (which are suppressed by the @)..
not sure which version you are using - what is the method/code around line 1764?

I am using DB_DataObject 1.5.2. It works perfectly in a "standard" cgi-environment, but when used within PEAR::SOAP I get tons of error messages about undefined indexes: SOAP-ENV:Server Undefined index: table_test_tbl PHP <faultcode xsi:type="xsd:QName">SOAP-ENV:Server</faultcode> <faultstring xsi:type="xsd:string">Undefined index: table_test_tbl</faultstring> <faultactor xsi:type="xsd:anyURI">PHP</faultactor> I found out, that the error occurs when $this->_database is FALSE at line 1763 in DB/DataObject.php and the script tries to get a DSN based on a table_ rule in line 1764. As I don't use that feature I commented out line 1764. From then on, the logs showed me that the database thing somehow works, but strangely enough the SOAPServer won't return since then and my client says: "Timed out read from localhost" My feeling is that I am missing on something really big here. What is the reson php starts complaining about missing indices in arrays? It never did before. Thanks, Martin
