I'm trying to start using the Auth package, and was testing somethings and I just couldn't get them to work. basically I copied and pasted the examples that are available in the documentation but I can't get the login form. The funny part about this is that while my home machine didn't work with the Auth package, I copied the same files (no changes at all) to the web server I have, and there it worked! Same version of Auth (Auth-1.2.3), but different PHP, Pear and Apache: At home I have: [root@linus /]# rpm -q php php-4.3.4-1.1 [root@linus /]# rpm -q httpd httpd-2.0.48-1.2 In the web server: bugs:~/Auth-1.2.3# dpkg -l | grep apache ii apache 1.3.29.0.1-3 Versatile, high-performance HTTP server ii apache-common 1.3.29.0.1-3 Support files for all Apache webservers bugs:~/Auth-1.2.3# dpkg -l | grep php ii php-elisp 1.0.5-1 Emacs support for php files ii php4 4.3.3-4 A server-side, HTML-embedded scripting langu ii php4-cgi 4.3.3-4 A server-side, HTML-embedded scripting langu ii php4-domxml 4.3.3-4 XMLv2 module for php4 ii php4-imap 4.3.3-4 IMAP module for php4 ii php4-pear 4.3.3-4 PEAR - PHP Extension and Application Reposit ii php4-pgsql 4.3.3-1 PostgreSQL module for php4 Any thoughts about what can be going on here? -- select 'mmarques' || '@' || 'unl.edu.ar' AS email; ------------------------------------------------------- Martín Marqués | Programador, DBA Centro de Telemática | Administrador Universidad Nacional del Litoral -------------------------------------------------------
