yes, me too some days ago, I read
http://www.phppatterns.com/index.php/article/articleview/85/1/9/
Did you read something else?

No, but I am also looking for a nice framework and I did not like what I
found until now, but it seems to be very interesting. But it is an 0.1alpha
release, and perhaps the api could change in some modules... so I don't want
to use it at the moment.

me too ;-)
I look for a "lighter" template-system, but I would like to implement this
framework into an existing application, where I use an own, not so nice
framework. So I have a lot of smarty-templates which I would like to use
first of all, perhaps I could change it to make it work with smarty, or
perhaps I will rewrite my templates.
Kind regards,
Andreas
