Hello all html_progress users
I would thanks all users who are warm welcome my package, and asked so many
times
how could i use the PEAR::HTML_Progress package to a file upload operation.
Long time ago, i though it wasn't impossible. I'm wrong.
Thinking and thinking again to satisfy all my dear users, i've searched over
internet a cool solution
but i've seen nothing. So i've decided to make it myself.
I've finally found something. Of course there are some restrictions.
Here are the list :
- You should have a FTP valid account (to use my solution)
- PHP loads should integrate ftp extension
- You should have at least PHP 4.3 or better
If all these restricts are acceptable for you, so my solution is ready to
share.
I must write docs/tutorials, but the new class HTML_Progress_Upload is
ready.
BTW to do this class, i've created a FTP_Upload class for basic php-ftp
operations
HTML_Progress_Upload is only an extends of FTP_Upload that allow a GUI
made with QF (QuickForm).
Depending, on some others projects/proposal results, i could make a new
HTML_Progress release
next week.
New features:
- a progress uploader dialog box
and why not if i've time ... more features ! Stay tunes :)
Laurent
