Laurent, please have a look at Megaupload:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/megaupload/
http://www.raditha.com/php/progress.php
They seem to have a working solution, though I haven't yet tested
myself. However, they don't seem to be able to solve the problem
*just* with PHP. They have the progress bar written in PHP. However
they use a small Perl-script that reads the uploaded file directly
from stdin. This works, because Perl, in contrast to PHP, doesn't
automatically handle file-uploads itself.
Haven't yet tried the following:
How about using php-cli via a script and reading from stdin? Does the
cli-version also handle fileuploads itself? Maybe cli doesn't include
the upload-handling-"feature".
Feedback welcome :-)) Regards,
Stefan
