Hi all I'm new to this PEAR so I might have overseen some stuff, but I don't find anything related in the archives I have a Mac OSX with PEAR working. I install locally but want to upgrade a package or two. I have to uninstall and download the new package in order to get the new package because I cant remotely install or upgrade. I get either this: % sudo /usr/local/php/bin/pear upgrade HTML_Common Connection to `pear.php.net:80' failed: Undefined error: 0 or this: % sudo /usr/local/php/bin/pear remote-list PEAR_Remote::call: fsockopen(`pear.php.net', 80) failed So it seems that I am behind a firewall or something, but I'm not! This is my config: % /usr/local/php/bin/pear config-show Configuration: ==============
