How can I have a group within a group?You can't.
How do I reference the first group within the second group?See above.
I need to group two text elements with a select element but I want different separators between them e.g. aaaaa . bb / selectaThen pass an array of separators to addGroup(): array('.', '/') I also strongly suggest checking the examples that go with QuickForm. They cover most of the package's functionality, including groups.
