I've used recently the display driver of Log package and i discovered
something strange. Perharps i did it wrong, tell me if i missed something.
my need:
I want to display on browser screen a message with context (filename and
line) in bold face.
In the core of message i used html tags <b> and </b> to do it .
it's not a really real case, but here are the code i used to produce such
case:
<?php
require_once 'Log.php';
$logger = &Log::singleton('display');
$context = array('file' => __FILE__, 'line' => __LINE__);
$message = 'invalid input';
$message .= ' in <b>' . $context['file'] . '</b> on line
<b>' .
$context['line'] . '</b>';
$logger->crit($message);
?>
I expected to have
Critical: invalid input in logger.php on line 6
and got only :
Critical: invalid input in <b>logger.php</b> on line <b>6</b>
Is it a wanted behaviour ?
i noticed that line 98 of Log::display driver (version 1.8.4) has a
htmlspecialchars() function
